Edward Parker is a well-known environmental photojournalist and educationalist. He has worked in more than 40 countries for a variety of environmental and development charities such as WWF-International and The Tropical Forest Trust. He is also the author or co-author of more than 20 books on development and environmental issues and his reports and images have been used extensively for campaigning and fundraising around the world. More recently he was the trust director of a British-based environmental education charity specialising in outdoor education. He has twice been highly commended in the ‘Wildlife Photographer of the Year’ and short-listed for ‘Environmental Photojournalist of the year’. His photographs and information have been used to illustrate more than 100 books and have been used in interpretation material and exhibitions for organisations such as Kew Gardens, the Woodland Trust, The Eden Project and WWF-International.
